Dimmer (1K 15A)

This 1,000 Watt, 15 Amp dimmer was originally designed as a router speed control. Not as precise control as more expensive Variac dimmers, but this light-duty unit works well under most conditions. Great for controling practical lamps, or small fresnels.

Unlike most dimmers, this unit does not dim completely down to off. At its lowest setting, the light will still be on; glowing at about 20%, so it doesn't work for a lighting cue that requires a light to dim completely off.

With it's built-in three-way On/Off/Variable switch the unit can also be used as a remote on/off switch for a lighting cue or as a dimmer.



NOTE: Router speed controls are designed to be used in short duration. This unit, used as a dimmer, should not be left on for extended periods of time.
