Silks

Silks are made with spring steel, open-end frames with a 3/8" pin and support which can be used to hang the Scrim from the C Stand handle when not in use. Frames are black powder coated to minimize unwanted reflections. The two upright arms of the frame are connected with piano wire woven through the fabric to make up the fourth side of the frame without causing a shadow.

Silks slightly soften and diffuse light without much reduction in intensity, while introducing a significant amount of ambient bounce.
